Description: Instituted in 1889 and became part of Chulalongkorn University from 1917 to 1943 when it became the University of Medical Sciences. Acquired current name 1969. Best known for its medical faculty. An entrance examination and the upper secondary school certificate (Matayom Suksa V or Matayom VI) (12 years of education) are the usual admission requirements.
