Description: Junior college programs vary in Taiwan; usually 5-6 years after junior high school (grade 9) or 2-3 years after senior high school (grade 12). Diplomas, not degrees, are awarded. These programs are usually terminal; however, they may receive some credit in degree granting institutions in Taiwan and may be considered for undergraduate transfer credit in the U.S. Admission requirements vary according to the program.
